I grew up deep in the heart of the Central Texas Hill Country, watching where I stepped in the bluebonnets for rattlesnakes while devouring as many books as I did tacos.

By day, I wrangle academics at a university (it’s like herding cats), and by night, I pen stories about love, magic, and men who yearn under the intense supervision of my Shiba Inu, Pippa. I always believe in happy endings, even if the journey to get there might be a bit wild.

In my spare time, you can find me playing volleyball, buying more tea than I could ever possibly drink, and writing fanfiction about star-crossed space wizards on AO3 (iykyk).

I have a BA in French Literature from The University of Texas at Austin and an MA in French Literature from the University of Virginia. I originally intended to become a professor myself, but decided I was much better suited to writing books than writing about them.
